Certain wounds: Require specialized treatment but the old "zipper wound" should be gently cleaned 2-3 times daily and if possible put a thin layer of antibiotic ointment on it and a non adherent dressing. Human bite wounds are different and should be evaluated by a physician. If otherwise, be specific and re-post.
