What do you advise if i had a tee done a few days ago and my uvula swoll up and is still swollen is this normal?

Uvular swelling: Hello. A trans esophageal echocardiogram or (tee) requires the passage of an endoscope through the mouth, throat into the esophagus to view the heart from a different than normal angle. As the procedure was being performed, I suspect your uvula was irritated. This should subside with liquids and time but if a few days pass, I might recommend a dose of steroids. See your doctor for care.
