Get seen: If these enter your mind with any force or seriousness, get with your personal physician. This may be your brain playing a cruel and dangerous trick on you. There may be something in your life that's making you think this, but there is almost always a better option. One of the most consistent numbers in medicine is that 99% percent of folks who attempt & fail are glad 1 year later they failed.

See below: The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline has a hotline 1-800-273-8255. You can speak to trusted family or friends. Don't keep your emotional pain inside. Seek the help of a mental health specialist. Call 911 or go to the nearest ER if you think you might be in imminent danger of harming yourself. Your loved ones and many other people will miss you!!

DEPRESSION: Get an evaluation from a psychiatrist to help identify what depression/suicide means to you and whatever else may be bothering you. Consider recommendations for medication if any are given. Get a referral for a reputable psychotherapist to speak with. Meds and therapy combined are most optimal; no just one or the other.
