A member asked:

Can my child be given mmr vaccination at 6 months if we are going on a foreign vacation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: You may want to visit the cdc traveling with children web page @ www.Cdc.Gov. This is a common preventive measure recommended @ 6 m if travel will take you into an endemic area. The vaccine would need to be repeated at 1 and 4 years as the early dose is not considered adequate to firm up long term immunity.
