A member asked:

My blood titers for mmr vaccine were really low. i had to receive another vaccination. i had received them as a child. why would another be necessary?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Titers are low: If your titers were low then theoretically your immunity is not up to par so you would be at higher risk of contracting measles, mumps or rubella. By getting another viaccine you will raise your body's ability to produce antibodies.
