Keratoconus: There is no effective treatment for keratoconus. The mainstay of treatment involves corrective lenses. When no further benefit can be gained with optics, the doctor may perform a keratoplasty. It is a progressive disease, but rate of progression is unknown and variable. Younger age at onset, corneal scarring, and worse visual acuity at onset are all poor prognosticators. I'm sorry.
