HIDA: There is only a small amount of administered radioactivity, and risk is slight. However,if you want to be completely safe, considering the radioactive 1/2 life decay of the HIDA agent(technetium 99m), combined with the natural elimination of the substance by your body, after 24 hours it will essentially be completely eliminated from your system.

Probably 2 days: Usually most of radiation has decayed by 48 hours after test. Main reason for not having sex would be exposure to partner with low dose ionizing radiation. The half life of Tc99m HIDA is 6 hours.
