Staples for wounds.: Staples are a fast, efficient and effective way to close lacerations or surgical wounds. Typically the anatomical site has some bearing on the length they should stay. Usually seven to ten days is sufficient for a wound to heal enough that staples can be removed. There are some area that experience more tension or stress and may require a longer time. Rec: See a doctor.
