A member asked:

Do you get blood transfusion if a uterine inversion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably yes.: This can be a life threatening condition, where the placenta does not separrate from the uterus. Therefore the uterus inverts. This and its treatment can result in extensive blood loss so the patient would most likely need and get units of blood transfused.
