Rash: Hives usually present as red, raised, itchy lesions that can be small or large. "Hives" are often used non-specifically to describe many different skin lesions so I would have your rash looked at directly in order to make the correct diagnosis. Hives do tend to itch and individual lesions usually appear and resolve completely within 24 hours. See your doctor for further treatment and evaluation.
