CT Chest.: If someone has symptoms consistent with blood clot in the lungs, CT Chest with contrast is obtained for further evaluation. .If CT cannot be obtained, VQ Scan can determine the probability of a clot in lung. You should see go to Emergency room or see your doctor ASAP to determine f that test is indicated. A physician will also evaluate other diseases that can have similar symptoms.
