Fine forms of: cardiovascular exercise. Just listen to your body. For some people, the impact of running on the body causes pain, so cycling may be a better choice. Additionally, when cycling make sure that your bike fits you appropriately and posture is good, as poor posture and/or a seat to high or low puts undue stress on your back and/knees and wrists.
