Yes they are: Hi. Sugar is healthy as long as it's not overdone. Sugar has calories and can be converted to fat for storage. Artificial sweeteners have no calories, but provide nothing healthy to the body. I don't keep any artificial sweeteners in my house, but I also use little real sugar. Live healthy!

There is nothing: unhealthy or healthy about either. Natural sugars contain calories, which can contribute to weight gain. Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or internet scams.
