Migraines and PFO's: I think the answer is possibly. 28 million American's suffer from migraines. Several studies have shown that those with migraines may have a higher incidence of residual PFO (Patent foramen ovale) which is a normal structure between the upper 2 chambers of the heart that is suppose to close after birth. A study in the Am. Journal of Cardiology (Feb 2008) may be a good source of information for you
