Resection: Myxomas are benign mucoid like lesions that are frequently found in a pedunculated form in the heart, more than 80 % arising in the left atrium They can also present in the cutaneous as well as Odontogenic form. In most instances surgical resection is advocated or actually required when compromise of cardiac function noted.
