How do you check for food sensitivities if you have rheumatoid arthritis?

Elimination diet: You can start eliminating foods most commonly causing problems in RA patients , i.e., red meat, red wines, sugars, and saturated fats. Fish, and vegetables and oils high in omega 3 are very good antiinflammatories and good to take daily.Elimination means stopping suspect foods for two weeks and see if improved.

Food sensitivities: There are several types of food sensitivities, however food allergies can be checked through specific IgE testing (blood testing) or through food skin testing. An Allergist can help perform these tests. Other sensitivities (e.g. gluten insensitivity) can be checked through blood tests.
