Have had period for day 13. skipped march. can taking iron help with the amount of blood being lost? what can be done to slow it down?

No iron cannot slow : Iron will not slow blood loss, but it can help with any anemia that may be related to prolonged periods/blood loss. Birth control pills can be taken to help regulate periods/excessive bleeding.
