At what level can a low crit be life threatening? i know there are other factors but i'm curious about crit. how much pints can you lose before death?

Depends: It all depends. The threshold to transfuse varies depending on the situation. If you lose a lot of blood fast like in a car accident, then you may need to be transfused sooner, but if you lost blood slowly over years, your body may have adjusted and you may not need a transfusion. There are other factors as well.
