A member asked:

Baby is a week old, born by c-sect, has 2 hematomas on the head where doc placed vacuum, seem a little bigger now. she is ok, but is this a concern?

Perhaps: It can take several weeks for the blood to become reabsorbed from a hematoma, however they do not usually get much bigger after the initial trauma. If it is truly increasing in size this problem warrants a visit with your pediatrician.
