When i got out of the shower 21 mintues ago i was getting this sharp pain in my left rib. also before & after. so why am i getting sharp pains?

Need more info: The chances are that you twisted your torso and/or strained the rib muscles. Try applying something like bengay if there is no rash over the painful area and/or take tylenol (acetaminophen). If still a problem and if you are breaking out with a blister type rash or something similar get an appt with your family physician.
