A member asked:

Can a persons body reject dessicated thyroid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: Desiccated thyroid taken orally will act like thyroid replacement therapy, but without the fine control possible with conventional medications. If you need thyroid replacement, stick to the medication prescribed by your doctor.
