Maybe not related: Findings on am MRI may not necessarily correspond to your symptoms or cause any symptoms at all. Its possible that the disc is just an incidental finding and your pain is caused by some other process. This is for your doctor to decide who has more information but keep in mind that MRI findings can sometimes be clinically misleading.
