A member asked:

Does amoxicillin can cure h.pyroli ? if yes how long should i take it and how many times a day? and is there any type of amoxicillin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Helicobacter pylori: Extremely low chance of success with Amoxicillin alone; need additional antibiotics (usually three) even then the chance is less than 90%. And after you are free of helicobacter pylori, you can still get reinfected. Ask your doctor if you need treatment, and which treatment protocol to use.
