Depends: The frequency of use of pain medications in headaches often depends on the nature of the pain and amount of suffering. Its a good idea to keep the use of pain killers to 1-2 days per week. Use of pain medications (nsaids, caffeine and narcotics) as well as triptans on a regular long term basis would commonly cause daily headaches as well as stomach aches.
