A member asked:

Does nasal irrigation cause vertigo (bppv)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: If the nasal irrigation starts in the nostril, it is highly unlikely that the inner could react to a nasal irrigation. However, if you are using a nedi-pot to irrigate the nose and if the water gets into the middle ear through the et, it is possible that the middle ear temperature could alter the inner ear fluid temperature and the inner ear fluid would move. Vertigo can only occur by temp.Change.
