Smoking?: If you mean is smoking a likely cause of the blood tests you have sent, it is unlikely. If you have not seen a hematologist yet, you should. The entire blood count would be helpful. Chronic myelogenous leukemia needs to be considered.

Not sure, because: Lap is obsolete now. It is nonspecific and subjective, and essentially little value in the era of molecular testing. I usually do not recommend lap score. If clinically suspicious for CML or other mpd, obtain testing for bcr-abl or jak2 mu. Historically, it did play an important role in differentiating CML (low lap) versus infection/inflammation (high lap). See a hematologist.
