Excreted in urine ;: The government requirement for minimum levels of vit d is too low. This is the level you need to prevent rickets! you need to have your vitamin d level checked in your blood. When you replace vitamin d with supplements you need to take vitamin d3. Excess vit d that is not absorbed will go out in your stool and urine.
