HHV-6 virus: Usually after the infection hhv-6 goes into dormancy. Most primary infections are asymptomatic. Hhv-6 reactivation can result in illness. Active acute hhv-6 infection have been found in immunocompromised patients. Hhv-6 infects lymphocytes and infection can be associated with meningitis.
