A member asked:

Recently diagnosed with sle doc has me on 100mg of topamax (topiramate). 3 months of this now and no relief i've expressed this to him. should i switch docs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: Sle itself is not treated with topamax (topiramate) which is a drug used for migraine headaches and prevention of seizures. Not knowing your symptoms it`s hard to be specific about other treatments. It would be wise to consult with a rheumatologist for your sle. Your doctor could arrange.
