Specializes in Psychiatry

Psychiatric eval: A psychiatrist listens to your current complaints, your past psychiatric history, plus your family, social, and medical history. She reviews your medications (and supplements, these days), does a mental status exam, and provides diagnostic considerations. As necessary, s/he provides treatment recommendations. Yes, you should see a psychiatrist for evaluation if you're having mood swings.
