Blepharitis: What you describes sounds like blepharitis. Blepharitis is an inflammatory condition of eyelids in which the oil glands in the lids get clogged. Treatment includes warm compresses and lid scrubs, antibiotics, and sometimes steroid ointment. Artificial tears containing lipid component can also be helpful. Some blephatritis is caused by demodex and lid scrubs containing tea-tree oil can be of benef.
