Yes: You ovulate before your period. It is possible to go even years without having a period and then get pregnant. Use contraception if you do not want to get pregnant.

Ovulation: You can get vaginal bleeding with or without ovulation. Usually if you ovulate, however, you get a period unless you are pregnant, have had an ablation, or have had a partial hysterectomy.
