BCG Vaccine: If you have had BCG vaccine and you PPD test is strongly positive, you should not have PPD done ever again as it will always be positiveand you will have to have chest xray done if you are in afield where it is a requirement.If your PPD is negative or weakly positive you dont need xray as it will be considered negative test.

No: After a number of years, most positive tests caused by BCG will wane to negative. Also, the interferon gold blood test can be used.
