A few causes: Common causes of white exudate on the back of your throat are strep throat as well as mono or epstein barr virus. The only way to know which one it is and to establish the right treatment plan is to see a physician. Strep is determined by a swab and there is an abtc cure. Mono is a blood test; it is viral; no medicine.
