Is it possible to get refeeding syndrome if only consuming liquid calories? or is it about calories in general and electrolytes?

Possibly: Refeeding syndrome is typically noted after prolonged period of not eating and/or having feedings delivered to the intestinal tract. Re-initiating of feedings to the gut after prolonged gut rest may result in refeeding syndrome. Prolonged liquid diets are associated with a high risk of gallbladder disease that could cause symptoms that might be confused with refeeding syndrome.
