Women also pose risk: All people with HIV regardless of their gender can transmit the virus through unprotected sex. While specific sexual activities may vary slightly, any form of unprotected sex with an hiv+ man or woman can lead to a new HIV infection. Hiv is an incurable ; potentially deadly viral infection if not recognized ; treated. Therefore any risk of HIV transmission - no matter how small - is significant.
