A member asked:

I have spasm in my stomach that do not transfer the feeling to the brain. i used mebeverine for 3 years but i'm not fine. what is your diagnose and tr?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mebeverine is...: ...An antispasmodic medicine which is used to relieve muscle cramps in the stomach and intestines. It's primary use is in irritable bowel syndrome (ibs). Ibs is however a diagnosis of exclusion, so its impossible to render a diagnosis in your specific case without knowing what tests you've had or what was ruled out. Also, not sure what you mean by "do not transfer the feeling to the brain.".
