2 days is great!: A normal period can range from 2 to seven days in length; however, since normal for you is 4 days, you might want to take a pregnancy test. Bleeding from implantation can be confused with a period. If you are not pregnant and your cycle continues to be 32 days and regular, its a gift.

Variable: The main reason for light periods is a change in hormone levels. Causes for what seems to be a light period can include: implantation bleeding in early pregnancy, thyroid problems, eating disorders, excessive exercise, initial periods for a girl, use of an intrauterine device, oral contraceptives & perimenopause.
