Seek doctor's appt: It is hard for any physician to recommend care about a skin issue without seeing it in person. I'd be brave and seek a physician's input in their office.

Not really: This is not uncommon and probably normal for you. It is not an indicator of bad hygiene, just pigmented skin in this area. Some people have this area "bleached, " but i would be very careful about that. Be well!
