Raccoon roundworm: Baylisascaris procyonis is a roundworm that lives in the intestines of raccoons & can be transmited through eggs passed in it's feces. If people ingest eggs from soil or water or items contaminated by feces they can become infected. This type of infection is extremely rare. Per The CDC ony 22 documented cases were reported in the US during 1973–2010. I could find No cases from Tennessee.
