Many causes.: Many things can cause rlq pain. Inflammatory bowel disease (ibd), endometriosis, adhesions from prior surgery, ovarian cysts, and even muscle spasms in your psoas muscle. It's good that you've seen a gynecologist. Ct scans won't see many of these conditions. Ask your doctor if you should see a GI specialist, and make sure he/she knows you're still having pain!

Agree - many causes: Chronic appendicitis is possible, but VERY rare. Getting an opinion from a gastroenterologist and a general surgeon known for taking on "challenges" is helpful." I'm assuming celiac disease has been ruled out. If the pain is very sharp, consideration of a herniated disk in your high lumbar spine. Diagnostic laparoscopy with plans to remove your appendix may be reasonable. Good luck!
