A member asked:

Can uti cause cramping ? like menstraul cramps?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Although a UTI usually causes burning and frequency of urination, cramping can also be noticed. This is particularly true of pregnant women. In pregnancy, the urinary burning and frequency is often absent and these symptoms seem to be replaced with uterine-type cramping - like a menstruaal period.
