Borderline: A normal fasting blood sugar (FBS) in a non pregnant woman is less than 100. Since the hormonal changes of pregnancy may have affected the fasting blood sugar, would suggest repeating the test in about 6 weeks. Maintaining a normal weight is the first line in getting the FBS below 100.
