Quite small : 5mm is quite small for a fibroadenoma. Fibroadenoma some have been known to grow during pregnancy. Your options are to observe it and biopsy it or treat it if it grows. You may also opt to treat it now. It can be treated by excising it with surgery or by freezing the cells with a process called cryoablation, after which your body will reabsorb the dead cells.

Yes, it is OK: These are too small to worry about. Yet it is a good idea to check them in 6 months again than in one year. But why did you have your breast checked in the first instance? Did you palpate something yourself or did you have any x-ray/ultrasound type examination done?
