A member asked:

I'm 16 years old and i think i might have bpd, i have 8/9 symptoms but even though i'm only 16 can i still get diagnosed? how do they do it? thanks :)

Explaining BPD: Bpd means that much of your functioning is still like that of an adolescent. Yu are an adolescent, so it is not a disorder however, bpd is found most comonly among people (mostly women) that have experienced childhood abuse causing their coping skills to be delayed. If you had child abuse, see a therapist that uses cbt, trauma informed care and skill building.
