Not unusual: Each pregnancy can be different in may ways. As the uterus grows it increases in size. That can cause changes in pressure on the spine and surrounding muscles which can cause some discomfort. Also the nerves that go to the uterus can infuence the spinal muscles. That interconnection can cause low grade discomfort.
