Should be checked: Blood clots and bruises should long ago gone away or declared themselves. Chronic discoloration may represent vascular changes in older persons but is a concern for someone as young as you. You should probably get it checked.

I have had left knee pain off and on for years and several years back a procedure was performed where shaving of some bone spurs was done. My knee pain has come and gone since.
