10-14 days: For most people, the worst side effects a medication will resolve with 10-14 days, sometimes sooner. I usually advise patients for side effects occurring during this time period, if it is tolerable, try to hang in there, because it may resolve altogether given adequate time. If it is intolerable, or lasts longer than this, call your doctor.
