No.: There are no good studies showing that homeopathy can eradicate h. Pylori. It doesn't work. We all are probably getting a homeopathic amount of antibiotics (and other prescription meds) in our tap water anyway.

Not homeopathy only: Homeopathy does not eradicate a specific organism like an antibiotic does. Instead, it's able to strengthen your resilience against infections and ill effects of organisms that might be present. Conventional treatment of gerd includes antibiotic treatment for h pylori which is often present. Some herbal meds (not homeopathic) inhibit h pylori: http://tinyurl.Com/kjtnnoe.

A 47-year-old member asked:

Can there be any medicine in homeopathy to eradicate (kill) helicobacter pylori?

None: I say "none, " because homeopathy does not kill anything or eradicate organisms. However, it can strengthen the body's responses to overcome the effects of those organisms -- with individualized remedy that helps the whole system rebalance itself. With the right remedy, symptoms remit and function improves. If you want to "kill" helicobacter pylori, you may need standard antibiotic treatments.
