Acid: Acid reflux would be frequent cause of the symptoms. Gaviscon an over the counter and acid preparation could be tried as directed on the bottle. If symptoms do not improve within the first 1 to 2 weeks you should see your physician about further evaluation and prescription dietary wise avoid alcohol caffeine. Also avoid smoking.
